Academy

Introduction  |  The Concept  |  Success  |  Rates

The idea that gave birth to the IP System Golf Academy was an intensive training course for the Youth Program at the Niederrheinischen Golfclub Issum in Germany, where Wayne Roets has been Head Pro since 1999.

The spectacular success of the course caused Wayne to reflect on the possibilities for such courses being offered for adults as well, but adapted for the adult swing, and adult mind-set. Since the inception of these courses, offered regularly in Issum, participation in them, both at the Youth and Adult Levels, has become an integral part of daily golf life at the club.

Normally one associates the name "Academy" with a building or a specific place.

The idea of an academy independent of a specific place, one that can exist anywhere in the world where there is an interest in it, and at any time it is deemed necessary, was a natural development that grew from Wayne's busy professional life, and has been tried and tested in various places around the world. Spain, Poland, Australia, Portugal, and North Africa have hosted IP System courses since their inception. Your neighborhood, or favorite vacation spot, could be host to an IP System course in the future.

IP System courses can be arranged in 5-day blocks or as week-end courses with a length of up to two months, and can comprise 2 to 12 people. Due to its flexibilty, the IP System can be designed to concentrate on the needs of the individuals in your group, be it a youth group, adult, or senior group, and your personal time allowances and restrictions can be taken into consideration to build the optimum program that fits your needs.
